Are you thinking about replacing your thermostat with a smart thermostat before we feel the chill in the air this fall? I have good news! SCE and SocalGas® are working together to give homeowners bill credits and rebates totaling $150 for installing a smart thermostat, like the Nest Thermostat.
This is a win for most homeowners, considering the extra savings you will enjoy with the benefits of your smart thermostat keeping costs down throughout the year.
Here's how it works:
1. Receive a $75 bill credit when you enroll your qualifying smart thermostat in the Smart Energy Program through one of Southern California Edison's authorized service providers.
Claim your bill credit by enrolling through any of the smart thermostat providers featured on SCE's website, here.
2. Receive an additional $75 rebate on an approved energy-efficient smart thermostat purchased on or after April 1, 2018. ($50 rebate if purchased between January 1, 2018, and March 31, 2018. Not eligible if purchased before January 1, 2018.) Check SCE's qualified product list on their website, here, to see if your thermostat is an approved model. Proof of purchase is required to receive this additional rebate.
